Visitor visa
Authorization provided for the foreigner who wants to visit Colombia once or several times or to stay temporarily in the country without settling permanently.This visa allows the holder to carry out, among other activities: airport transit, tourism, business arrangements, academic exchange and studies in art or trades and postgraduate courses, medical treatment, administrative and / or judicial procedures, crew of a vessel or on a coastal platform, participation in events, internships or practices, volunteering, audiovisual and / or digital production, journalistic coverage, temporary service provider, transfer of intra-corporate personnel within the framework of current international instruments, official or commercial representative of a foreign government, vacation-work program and courtesy.

4. Wait for the response to the visa application study

The visa authority may advance the study of an application completely online without the presence of the applicant.
The visa authority will have up to five (5) days to issue a visa concept.However, when it is necessary to request the applicant to adopt the decision, the term may be extended for up to thirty (30) calendar days from the date of payment of the request.

6. Stamp the visa in the passport

By Covid 19 and until the health emergency declared by the Ministry of Health remains in force, Article 5 of Resolution 1296 of 2020 applies, visa stamping is suspended for validities equal to or greater than 3 months.
